The Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise OmniSwitch 6870-V12 is a fiber aggregation switch in 1RU format, built on the OmniFabric architecture. It offers 12 SFP28 ports and 100/200G stacking links to federate a compact and resilient network core.

  • 12 SFP28 1/10/25G fiber ports, 256-bit MACsec
  • 2 QSFP56 100/200G VFL stacking ports and 1 slot for an uplink module
  • 2,000 Gb/s switching capacity, 1,488 Mpps throughput, non-blocking
  • Virtual chassis of up to 8 units, AOS and OmniVista Cirrus management
  • OmniFabric: SPB, VxLAN-EVPN and MPLS, secure boot, traffic telemetry
  • 1RU form factor, modular 550W AC system power supply, front-to-back cooling
  • Shipped with a 19'' rack mount kit, power cord and RJ45 to DB9 console adapter (uplink module to be ordered separately)
