The Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise OmniSwitch 6900X48E is a network core and data center switch in a 1RU form factor with MACsec on all ports. It combines 10G, 25G and 100G ports for secure fabrics.

  • 40 SFP+ 1/10G ports, 8 SFP28 10/25G ports and 4 QSFP28 40/100G ports
  • MACsec on all ports, non-blocking L3 switching, latency below 600 ns
  • Intel Atom C3558 CPU, 32 GB of flash storage, 32 MB packet buffer
  • BGP-EVPN-VXLAN, VTEP gateway and RoCEv2 for data center fabrics
  • Virtual chassis of up to 6 switches, AOS and OmniVista management
  • Two hot-swappable 650W AC power supplies, front-to-back cooling
  • 210,000 h MTBF, 0 to 45 °C operating range, 1RU form factor
