Fortinet is a global cybersecurity player whose FortiGate next-generation firewalls are built on a dedicated hardware architecture (Security Processing Units) that accelerates SSL inspection, IPS, SD-WAN and antimalware without penalizing throughput. Its appliances fit into the Security Fabric, a unified platform that orchestrates firewalls, access points, switches, endpoints and SIEM.

FortiGate appliances are eligible for FortiGuard licenses (Unified Threat Protection, Enterprise Protection, ATP) that IT1 Connect renews and activates for its customers.
