The Stormshield EVA #1 HA Virtual Appliance is the High Availability node paired with an EVA #1 virtual appliance (up to 2 GB of RAM). Deployed alongside the primary node, it forms an active/passive cluster: if the primary firewall fails, the secondary takes over with no noticeable interruption of traffic.

This subscription covers the second cluster member with the same protection foundation as the primary node: IPS, IP reputation, application control, antispam, firmware updates and certified partner support. It deploys as a virtual machine, with no dedicated hardware.
