The Stormshield EVA #U HA Virtual Appliance is the High Availability node paired with an EVA #U virtual appliance (up to 64 GB of RAM). Deployed alongside the main node, it forms an active/passive cluster: if the primary firewall fails, the secondary one takes over with no noticeable interruption of traffic.

This subscription covers the second member of the cluster with the same protection baseline as the main node: IPS, IP address reputation, application control, antispam, firmware updates and certified partner support. It deploys as a virtual machine, with no dedicated hardware.
